Please assist in urging Governor Hochul to sign A8009/S6573 to raise state FHEPS.

Assemblywoman Rosenthal and Senator Kavanagh wrote an op-ed in the Daily News urging the Governor to sign A8009/S6573 to raise state FHEPS.

This bill was passed by the legislature earlier this year and would go a long way at making this voucher more effective. Once enacted, the bill would permanently raise the amount of rental assistance available from the Family Homelessness and Eviction Prevention Supplement (FHEPS) program to enable families to lease apartments at rents up to the full fair market rent.
