  Susan Birndorf and Rev. Sara Ofner Seals (her second trip) traveled with Michael Spath, Executive Director of Indiana Center for Middle East Peace, to Palestine and Israel in May 2025.  They developed a friendship and mutual understanding about what they saw and heard.  Hear their reflections on what they experienced and what we can learn from them about our activism in our country.

    Susan Birndorf is a Clinical Psychologist specializing in anxiety and depression, and a member of Jewish Voice for Peace-Indianapolis.

    Sara Ofner-Seals is Associate Pastor at Plymouth Congregational Church UCC, and a member of the Steering Committee of the UCC's Movement for Palestinian Solidarity.

    Michael Spath is Executive Director of Indiana Center for Middle East Peace, and on the boards of Friends of Hebron (with Issa Amro) and ICAHD-USA (with Jeff Halper).  He has led 18 "solidarity tours" to Palestine and Israel.
