Detailed Bulletin Announcement:
The NY State Council of Churches will host Ecumenical and Interfaith Advocacy Days, February 23 and 24 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Albany and the NY State Capital.
On Monday afternoon we will worship together and participate in a workshop, “What to Do When ICE Comes to Your Church,” followed by a light supper. The Tuesday morning schedule will include briefings on policy issues affecting immigration, housing, environmental justice, healthcare, economic justice and criminal justice reform. In the afternoon participants will visit their elected officials to share their concerns.
This is an opportunity for people of faith to engage in the public dialogue about how as a society we distribute resources, promote the common good, protect the most vulnerable among us, advance justice, and care for and help restore God’s creation.
In the event of terrible weather, a snow date is scheduled for March 9 & 10, 2026.
