Join us for a hybrid gathering on Sunday, September 20thfrom 3-5p to help Lutherans and allies across our state understand thelegislative process in New York, gain a general understanding of hot buttonissues in the 2027 New York State legislative session and help develop advocacypriorities in line with the Social Teachings of the Evangelical Lutheran Churchin America.
Participants will gather in-person at various congregationsacross the synod, zoom together for the first hour, and then break out intofocus groups for the second hour. This information will then be synthesized byour Advocacy Task Force into three main priority areas as we head towards oursecond Lutheran Day at the Capitol on March 8th and March 9th, 2027.
