A group of Warren County residents and volunteers are working with the Adirondack Regional Immigration Collaborative (ARIC) to build an immigrant support network in the North Country. As a first step to help protect the rights of immigrants and respond to the threats of mass deportations and detentions, ARIC and Lifeworks are holding a training on Saturday, July 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in North Creek. The training—designed for faith communities and others—will consist of Know Your Rights and Rapid Response workshops. The event is free and lunch will be provided—with donations accepted. After registering, you will be notified as to the exact location just prior to the event.
