On July 28-29, Churches for Middle East Peace gathered 120 Christian leaders and activists from the US, Palestine, South Africa, Europe and elsewhere at the Carter Center in Atlanta, to ask the question, “How can the followers of Jesus present a unified witness to stand against the genocide happening in Palestine?”

ICMEP’s MICHAEL SPATH hosts three other conference participants for a conversation about what happened at the CMEP meetings and where we go from here.

MARIETTA MACY is a Presbyterian Pastor and Co-Moderator of the Palestine Justice Network of the Presbyterian Church (USA).

DAVID WILDMAN is the Executive Secretary for Human Rights & Racial Justice with the United Methodist Church and works with grassroots partners in the Middle East and Afghanistan.

PHILIP FARAH is a Palestinian-American activist, born in Jerusalem, co-founder of the Washington Interfaith Alliance for Middle East Peace and Palestinian Christian Alliance for Peace.
