The six Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) presbyteries of Western New York State (Utica, Geneva, Genesee Valley, Cayuga-Syracuse, Susquehanna Valley and Western New York) are bringing prolific author, podcaster, seminary professor - Andrew Root to keynote at a two-day conference at the Presbyterian Church in Geneva, Friday - Saturday, September 25-26, 2026. The title of the event is Waiting, Witness and the Way of Christ: Reimagining the Church’s Calling.
They are looking to spark conversations around congregational transformation and ways of being faithful followers of Christ in our divided, discontented and diminished times. Both ecumenical pastors and congregational leaders are welcome to join with them.
The cost of the event is $75/person which includes both days of the event, dinner on Friday, and lunch on Saturday.
Registration is currently open until September 21, 2026. This event should be easily commutable for many, but we have also reserved a block of rooms at a conference rate should you wish to stay overnight in Geneva, NY.
