December 5, 2023 - Sign On to Urge Your Senators: Do Not Trade Away the Right to Seek Safety
Right now, negotiations are going in Congress to trade away permanent protections in the national asylum law in order to get the Federal budget passed. Refugees International, a global immigration advocacy organization (Global Voices for Rights and Refuge - Refugees International) is calling for organizations and individuals to sign on to a letter protesting this backroom bartering away of asylum protections for thousands of people. Instead it demands that Congress do its job and find humane solutions for the immigration issues of our time.
